Konstitusi yang hidup

Konstitusi yang hidup (Inggris: Living Constitution) adalah gagasan bahwa undang-undang dasar memiliki makna yang selalu berubah, berkembang, dan menyesuaikan dengan keadaan baru tanpa memerlukan amendemen resmi. Gagasan ini terkait dengan pandangan bahwa keadaan masyarakat saat ini harus dipertimbangkan ketika menafsirkan pasal-pasal dalam undang-undang dasar.^[1]

Beberapa pendukung metode interpretasi hidup, seperti Profesor Michael Kammen dan Bruce Ackerman, menyebut diri mereka dengan julukan organis.^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]
